Truth is, the idea came to us in the middle of the ocean.
We were in college and decided to set sail around the world. Instantly, we were blown away by the markets in Africa and Asia and quickly became obsessed with using global fabrics to make adventurous products that help artisans and their communities.
So with zero fashion experience, we used the last pennies in our pockets and started cutting, sewing, and shipping our first tees out of our dorm room. Fast forward 7 years and what a ride it's been!
But from day one, the mission has always been at the heart of what we make, where we travel, and how we give back.
By purchasing fabric from over 25 countries, we support artisans, their families, and ancient fabric making traditions. By giving 10% of our profits back to grassroots causes, we work to improve lives in their communities.
There's a story behind every product we make, so when you wear Serengetee, you are truly wearing a piece of the world. So we'll continue to travel and explore, looking for the next story to tell about our artisan friends or a cause that inspires us. After all, we wouldn't be here without them.
